Klis fortress

If you’re a  fan of Game of Thrones, this is the spot you don’t want to miss. Klis fortress is one of the most iconic locations in the TV show, known as the walls of Mereen. Visit this fortress and walk the footsteps of Daenerys Targaryen and her army.

This place has been a defensive stronghold for over two thousand years, and was especially important during the wars with Turks. Beside being the famous filming location, the location is pretty impressive and offers an incredible panoramic view of the city of Split and the nearby islands

Dalmatian Islands

Make sure to visit the pearls of Dalmatia, stunning Mediterranean islands Hvar and Brac.

Hvar is the sunniest island in Croatia, also known as a popular vacation spot of international celebrities. It has its own small archipelago, called Pakleni islands. Brac island is known for one of the most famous beaches in Europe, “Zlatni Rat” (Golden Horn)

You can reach the islands with a ferry from Split; Ferry is available 4-7 times a day during summer season July, August), and 3-4 times a day out of season.

Biokovo mountain & Nature park

If you enjoy nature, stunning views and hiking, this is your perfect destination. Biokovo mountain range overlooking the Makarska Riviera is one of the largest national parks in Croatia. It is also the popular excursion spot for both locals and tourists. Enjoy walking through the pine forests filled with fresh air on the narrow mountain paths.
